Air France connects New York, Newark, Boston, Miami and Atlanta with Paris and, through Charles de Gaulle, with Pointe-à-Pitre, Fort-de-France, Dakar, Abidjan and Lagos. It has not served Port-au-Prince from Paris since 2024.
Baggage policy
Economy Light: carry-on only (12 kg total for cabin bag plus accessory), checked bags paid from about $70 each way online. Economy Standard: one checked bag of 23 kg to Europe and the Caribbean, two to West Africa. Premium Economy: two bags. Overweight up to 32 kg costs about $100; bags over 32 kg are not accepted.
Changes and refunds
Economy Light is non-changeable and non-refundable. Economy Standard allows changes for a fee of about $70 to $200 plus fare difference; Economy Flex is fully changeable and refundable. Tickets issued in the US can be cancelled for a full refund within 24 hours.
Notes for Haiti and Caribbean travelers
For Haitian families in France, Air France is the bridge between Paris and the US gateways where Cap-Haïtien flights depart; there is no through ticket to Haiti on Air France as of September 2026. Its Paris to Pointe-à-Pitre and Fort-de-France flights serve the French Antilles, and its Paris to Dakar and Lagos flights are a common one-stop from New York.
