Norman Manley International Airport
Norman Manley International sits on the Palisadoes spit south of Kingston, with the harbor on one side and open sea on the other. It is the airport for the capital and the eastern half of Jamaica, and the one most diaspora travelers from New York and Miami use.

Terminal and check-in
One terminal, recently renovated, with a compact departures hall. Check in three hours ahead on Sunday evenings; security has a single main checkpoint.
Arrival process
Complete the online C5 customs and immigration form before arrival. Immigration lines for non-residents are moderate; the arrivals hall has ATMs and SIM counters.
Getting to and from the airport
JUTA licensed taxis at the exit charge fixed rates to New Kingston (about $30 to $35). The Route 98 bus runs to downtown. Rideshare is limited; book a driver ahead for late arrivals.
Tips
Christmas and summer flights are full of checked barrels; Caribbean Airlines and American include one bag on most fares, JetBlue's Blue Basic does not.
